Biography

I am an award winning, critically acclaimed singer songwriter, blind since birth and been performing since I was 10 years old.

I released my first album ‘Myron Angel’ when I was 13 of mainly my own material. I have appeared at festivals, theatres and clubs throughout the UK and abroad. I have performed on television, national and local radio. My television appearances include BBC Breakfast TV and Granada TV and I’ve recorded voice-overs and vocals for many TV adverts. I have received a number of awards including. ‘BT Woman of the Year’ and ‘The Dadafest Performer of the Year’. I hold a PhD in Music awarded from Liverpool University.

Festivals include ‘The Liberty Festival’ at Trafalgar Sq, the main stage at the Mathew St Festival. Liverpool, ‘The Truck Festival’ Cambridge, ‘In the City’ Manchester, ‘Summer Nights’ Edinburgh, the Eisteddfod, and the IPO Festivals in USA and Canada. I have performed in theatres in London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Hull, Middlesbrough, Lancaster, Llandudno and on the Wirral.
